Lori Dorman

Lori Dorman, owner and operator of The Birth Connection in Glendale California is the creator of HypBirth. "I have assisted literally hundreds of women in labor since 1992. I created HypBirth after studying the many different effects hypnosis had on women in labor. Through this process, I discovered which techniques work and which ones don't. My work has been unique because my passion for childbirth is truly authentic and my work as a hypnotherapist reflects only my desire to create an easier childbirth for women and their babies. Lori is an experienced hypnotherapist who has studied childbirth hypnosis for many years. Through her birth doula services, in which she has personally helped over 80 women a year give birth, she has had the rare opportunity to explore which hypnosis tools really benefit every women in labor. Lori's hypnosis work has been featured on The Learning Channel's "A Baby Story".

Lori has been a professional certified birth doula since 1992 and is a Bradley Instructor. She is a professional photographer specializing in pregnancy, birth and infant photography. (Her work with her clients is displayed throughout the site.) She is certified in pregnancy massage and is also a certified natural childbirth educator and lactation consultant.

Lori is co-owner with Melinda Olson of Earth Mama Angel Baby, a unique company offering natural and organic support products for pregnancy, labor, postpartum recovery, breastfeeding and babies.

Lori currently lives in Glendale, California and has 2 sons Jake age 10 and Quinn age 6, which were both birthed naturally.

Kerry S. Kugelman - The artist behind HypBirth Music

Kerry Kugelman is an artist, composer and writer, and has been making music since the early 1980s, exploring the mystical and healing aspects of that transcendent art. Currently Kerry is making short works of combined video and music, and looks forward to further collaboration with Lori Dorman and the HypBirth collection.
